Bus
The nearest bus station is Chesterfield. Find the Pronto service (Bright purple!) from Chesterfield to Nottingham via Mansfield. Get off at Heath (‘Stainsby lane end’ ) and walk the last mile and a half following the signs.

For those who like their instructions written down on the back of an envelope, here they are:

• Take M1 and EXIT at Junction 29
• Take EXIT on roundabout signposted A6175 – CLAY CROSS
• Take 1st LEFT (after Motorway Emergency services entrance) into MILL LANE, signposted STAINSBY & HARDWICK HALL
• Follow road alongside M1 for about a mile
• Then take 1st RIGHT at sharp left hand bend (Take care difficult junction) Signposted STAINSBY
• Follow road up through village and BEAR LEFT at the venerable Sweet Chestnut Tree in the middle of a right hand junction. The road to the right past the tree is a cul-de-sac with a tricky turnaround – avoid it.
• Follow the road left out of village for about quarter of a mile. After 200 yards or so, it bears sharp left on a blind corner – TAKE CARE HERE as you are very close to the festival and people will be on the road.
• The car park entrance is on your RIGHT
• The festival Entrance is 20 yards beyond on your LEFT
